The National Museum of Korea is also a must visit museum in Seoul. It was opened in 1945 and has been moved around to different location. The final location of this museum is decided in Yongsan Family Park. This museum houses over 220,000 pieces of arts and relics. It displays 13,000 pieces at any given time. There are three floors you can explore during your visit to this museum. The first floor consists of archaeological and historical gallery. The second floor consists of paintings, calligraphy, and donated works from individual collectors. The third floor consists of Buddhist sculptures and ceramics. This is also where you can see the pieces of art that represent Asian culture very well.

National Palace Museum of Korea is highly recommended especially for museum lovers. You might have heard about the Joseon Dynasty since it has been mentioned a lot in Korean film and dramas. The Joseon Dynasty lasted in Korea for five centuries, made them the last royal dynasty of Korea. The era of Joseon Dynasty played huge role in Korea it has brought powerful impact to the culture and tradition of the country in general. In this museum, you will see the display of architecture, records, clothing, royal life, state rites, cultures, painting, and music of the Joseon Dynasty. more than 4,000 pieces of the artifacts and royal treasures are hosted in this museum.
